This is a restaurant with a total floor area of 230 m2, location to the south of the Agricultural Exhibition Hall in Beijing. It is a renovation of an old building with one newly constructed part. The new exterior wall comprises laminated cement fiberboards, each 10 mm thick and 300 mm wide, combined with steel plate and glass. This 300 mm-thick laminated wall acts as both the structure and the interior finished. The interior atmosphere is created by exterior daylight being weakened as it passes through the thickness of the glass. It was completed in forty days.
