Architect for projects in Japan

We are looking for an architect to work on ambitious projects located in Japan from our office in Zurich.
You will join an international and highly motivated team in a collegial working environment.

You have the following:
- A Master degree in architecture and some work experience, ideally in Japan and Switzerland
- Good knowledge of Japanese and English (verbal and written). Additional knowledge of German is an advantage
- Excellent design skills
- Communication skills to collaborate with clients and local craftsmen
- Knowledge of Japanese culture and history preferable
- Understanding of materials, building codes and construction standards in Japan
- Experience with carpentry or Japanese joinery is of advantage
- Excellent three-dimensional thinking, including model-making and software skills
- Good knowledge of ArchiCAD

You are communicative, work methodically and proactively while remaining flexible. You appreciate a lively and collaborative environment and are able to structure your work processes independently, take on tasks in a goal-oriented manner and are able to think critically and analytically.
