We were tasked with tearing down an old hotel in the Chikuho Ryokuchi area, and then afterwards had discussions with Iizuka City Hall, in which we planned the project for a new hotel and glamping facility on the remaining 22,000 square-meter site. The selection of the hotel placement was also decided by us, the landscape-design side. We also directed the building of the glamping facility's cottages and tents, including the construction work. We went all the way to the U.S. to purchase an Airstream, which once acquired was skeletonized and interior work was done. The whole atmosphere is inspired by Palm Springs.
