Archiculture is a 25-minute film that "offers a unique glimpse into the world of studio-based, design education through the eyes of a group of students finishing their final design projects."
The documentary consists of interviews with professors and well known architects, like Shigeru Ban and Thom Mayne, but the scenes following a group of five students at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn as they work late nights on their thesis projects give the most insight into the distinctive culture of architecture school. Architects who have gone through the same process will certainly relate to these scenes, but those unfamiliar with architecture studio are given a rare glimpse into its workings.
