The latest architectural feature from the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art's Louisiana Channel focuses on Balkrishna Doshi, the 2018 Pritzker Architecture Prize winner and the subject of a major retrospective at the Vitra Design Museum earlier this year.
The Symphony of Architecture delves deeply into Doshi's background, his work, and his thoughts on architecture, what he calls "an extension of life." The interview was conducted at Sangath but ventures beyond Doshi's studio in Ahmedabad to illustrate many of his projects and occasionally show him visiting them. At 45 minutes the film is long by today's standards, but it is worth watching every one of those minutes.
