Designs of the Year 2014
London's Design Museum has announced 76 nominees in 6 categories vying for the 8th annual Designs of the Year.
The Designs of the Year categories consist of Architecture, Design, Fashion, Graphics, Product and Transport. Fifteen projects on six continents are nominated in the Architecture category, and those are listed below alphabetically by project name. Category winners will be announced in early May, with the overall winner to be named in early June. Last year's overall winner, Zaha Hadid's Heydar Aliyev Center, was the first time a work of architecture won Design of the Year in its then seven-year history. An exhibition of all the nominated designs runs from 25 March to 23 August 2015 at the Design Museum.
