From 7 January to 15 January, the public nominated stadiums of more than 10,000 seats that were completed in 2014. From that, a list of 32 projects were voted on by both the public and jury members over the ensuing month. Of the two lists, the Jury Vote is topped by stadiums with more architectural merit, not surprising given that the jury* voted based on four criteria: visual impact, relation with surroundings, innovation, and value for money. The top five in the Jury Vote are listed below, but visit StadiumDB.com to see the rest of the Jury Vote's top 10 and the list of favorites in the Public Vote.

*The jury was composed of Bob van Bebber, Boogertman + Partners, South Africa; Mike Bell, R&L Architects, South Africa; John Bontinck, Bontinck Architecture and Engineering, Belgium; Bruno Campos, BCMF Arquitetos, Brazil; Bryan Roe, Scott Tallon Walker Architects, Ireland; and Șerban Țigănaș, Dico si Tiganas, Romania.
