BUILDING. LIFE. CYCLE.

The BAU show is the world’s leading trade fair for architecture, materials, and systems, providing new momentum for the future of the industry. Schüco is once again making a bold statement at the fair, showcasing its latest innovations as a cross-material system provider for a circular and sustainable construction industry.

Our booth concept revolves around the overarching theme of the building life cycle. At the center: Schüco Value Up – Upgrading Existing Structures, a project-specific approach for the customized renovation of building envelopes. Visitors are welcomed right at the entrance by a striking media sculpture displaying the core message. Inside the Arena – the spacious, open central area of the booth – the campaign continues on large media screens. With impressive façades and numerous technological exhibits, Schüco demonstrates its expertise in the field of ‘Building in Existing Structures.’

Once again, the Schüco booth is an eye-catching and inviting brand space. The heart of the customer journey features innovative product presentations and technological expertise, complemented by the comprehensive services of the Bielefeld-based company – a holistic portfolio addressing the most relevant topics in the industry: Building in Existing Structures, Sustainability & Schüco Carbon Control, Fire Protection & Security, Modular Construction, Residential Solutions, Digitalization in Construction, and the Partnership Area.

The open, orthogonal zoning of product areas ensures clear navigation throughout the 1,600-square-meter booth, creating a spacious and welcoming atmosphere for the many visitors. The impressive two-story façades, windows, doors, and systems serve as both, hands-on exhibits and defining elements of the booth architecture. Numerous service stations provide visitors with deep insights in direct exchange with Schüco experts.

BRAND SPACE TO EXPERIENCE
A unique atmosphere that can only be experienced live – this is what defines every Schüco presentation at BAU! The Brand Space 2025 invited visitors to an immersive and approachable Schüco experience. More than 380 employees guided the 10,000 invited international guests through around 500 tours, showcasing Schüco innovations, while also welcoming the wider professional audience. At the coffee bar, over 16,000 coffees were served, and over the five days of the fair, tens of thousands of additional visitors gained a hands-on glimpse into the future of construction with Schüco solutions.

SUSTANABILITY MATTERS!
For a sustainable trade fair, Schüco once again implemented a comprehensive package of measures:

_Reduction of the built booth volume by 60% from 2019 to 2023, maintaining this level for 2025. As a result, the entire steel structure from 2023 was reused for the 2025 booth.
_Digital-only invitations, continuation of digital business cards since 2023, and no printed brochures.
_Preference for regional service providers, such as catering, bus companies, and furniture rental suppliers.
_Maximization of the reuse of exhibits and booth elements in Schüco showrooms.
_Second-life use of booth materials: In collaboration with exhibition stand builder kohlhaas*partner and Trash Galore, booth materials – particularly panel materials – were donated for reuse in social and cultural projects in Munich. Over 23 tons of material were repurposed, preventing approximately 16,500 kilograms of CO2eq emissions.
_Additionally, the entire booth’s CO2 footprint was offset via ClimatePartner.
