Hollin + Radoske have been commissioned with the exhibition design of Swiss premium furniture manufacturer de Sede at imm Cologne 2016. This represents the fourth fair presentation in succession for the Swiss design brand. In cooperation with the communications agency Projekt Triangle, the Frankfurt-based architecture office is responsible for the brand archicture of de Sede. In addition, Hollin + Radoske are also entrusted with the colour and material selection of the Swiss manufacturer’s new collection, debuted at imm Cologne 2016. Renown for the design of high-end and distinct interiors, that translate the character of a brand into exclusive spaces, also the fair presentation of de Sede at the Cologne furniture fair imm Cologne 2016 transports a clear brand identity as well as also acts as a showcase for the brand sensibility of Hollin + Radoske. Central to the interior design concept is the demand to bring in line the new collection with the long-standing tradition of the Swiss company as well as to create a compelling overall experience of architecture and furniture. With room-high, black powder-coated steel frames the architects structure the fair stand in open rooms, which thus form a stage for the showcased furniture. The stand’s walls are projected with large-sized, spectacular images of Swiss landscapes, which act as the background and virtual basis of the brand presentation. The colours black, red and white in connection with the use of solid wood achieve a clean and reduced appearance with subtle Swiss identity.
