LXSY Architekten is an architecture firm from Berlin that was founded in 2015 by Kim Le Roux and Margit Sichrovsky. Wiebke Ahues joined the team as a partner in May 2024. For all three of them, architecture is an attempt to find answers to the most pressing social, societal, economic and ecological challenges of our time in the built environment.
LXSY Architekten are involved in the field of circular planning and building and are thus actively committed to the transformation towards a climate-friendly construction industry that conserves resources and avoids waste - in short, towards circular construction. As ambassadors of the building revolution, they set new standards for the future of architecture and question established processes in the construction industry. They transform existing buildings and are pioneers of circular construction. They see every existing building as a storehouse of materials. They consider the entire life cycle of a building, utilise yesterday's materials and consider the reparability and reuse of tomorrow today.
As architects, they deal with the question of how we as a society want to live and work together in the future. With their work, they actively bring people together and pursue innovative approaches to working and living in order to jointly develop a sustainable coexistence. They want to make the process of building socially visible and tangible again and bring building culture back into society as a relevant discourse. They think differently and play a positive role in shaping the building of tomorrow.
