Urban development

This site, about 40 hectares in area, was formerly occupied by a barracks and is located in the green belt surrounding the town. It was re-zoned as a modern location for housing and offices. Large, noble courtyard buildings are grouped casually around the central terraced gardens. This core of the complex uses an orchard to bridge the 15-m change in level between the promenade above and the shores of the lake below.
