Preliminary project in Baradello.
Located on the edge of the ski slopes in Baradello, a threshold building inspired by the old mountain sawmills becomes, on the side facing the built-up area, a technical centre serving the community, and on the opposite side, towards the ski slopes, it contains the services for skiers, related to rescue and ticket offices.
Wood and dark oxidised copper are the 2 materials for the cladding and roofing of the large overhang, which on the side facing the village becomes a polycarbonate
lantern that lights up at night.
