© Thomas Baron

The Cornfield Pavilion is part of the Open Mind Places initiative in Referinghausen, located in the Sauerland region of Germany. This collaboratively constructed installation is characterized by a reinforcement mesh structure, which serves as a support for grain ears, symbolizing the relationship between nature and community.
The pavilion embodies core principles of regenerative thinking and action, promoting awareness of the vital connection between healthy soil, nutritious food, and sustainable agriculture. In its temporary role, it served as a vibrant gathering space for the community, sparking collaboration and fostering meaningful dialogue around sustainable living and ecological knowledge.
