A school from the 50's with a three-storey main building and single-storey pavilions had to be extend by a cafeteria, student lounges and classrooms for biology and physics. The new building connects directly to the angular main building with a new entrance, a staircase, an elevator and toilet facilities. The south-oriented hallway of the old building is diverted to the north side of the new building, so that all newly created spaces will benefit from the southern sun and the view to the green school grounds. The cafeteria with 96 seats and the kitchen are located on the bottom floor, the student lounges on the middle floor, and the two special classrooms and a preparation room upstairs. The facade of glass and fiber cement panels is structured horizontally by plastered stripes in front of the concrete slabs.
