Harmony between tradition and modernity.

In the implementation, particular attention was paid to the interplay between the object and its surroundings. In the design of the facade, it was important to us to loosen up the traditional style of the stable building through the skilful use of materials. The horizontal division of the facade created an exciting interplay between the natural stone wall on the first floor, the wood paneling on the upper floor and the half-timbered look in the building’s attic. The typical style of the locality is broken up by a dwarf house made of black steel with generous glazing. Since the property is located at an altitude of 1400 m, the owner enjoys not only the day-long incidence of light, but especially the view over the Arlberg region.
