Built in the 1960s, this hillside holiday home has a 180° view over Locarno. Along with the total renovation, a conversion was also planned. The formerly small-roomed house now features an open floor plan. The kitchen, dining room and living areas are connected to each other, and the living space extends to the ceiling. This lends the space a pleasantly expansive feel. Thanks to a new dormer, a part of the roof space is available as an additional sleeping area. Large sliding windows frame the view and the centrally positioned fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. Warm colours and choice materials, such as oak and natural stone tiles, define the character of this little holiday oasis.
