RC residence planned in Mori-machi, Shuchi-gun, Shizuoka Prefecture. The plan was to give a rustic texture to the earthquake-resistant structure, even though it is a new construction. A covered terrace between the house and the outside brings pleasant natural light and breezes into the LDK, and the private rooms are arranged around the open-ceiling LDK. In this way, all the rooms can feel the nature outside, and at the same time, it is possible to feel the presence of the family at an appropriate distance. The old timber pasted on the heat insulation gives warmth to the inorganic texture of concrete and steel, and the client's lighting, furniture, plantings, and exterior design create a space with both industrial and natural tastes. Although this is a new building, it has the feel of a renovation, but it is not only a beautiful new building.
