The building is located on a hill near Hayama, and the top-floor living room and terrace exceed the existing building between it and the sea in order to maximize the view of Sagami Bay.
The ground level was to be made of wood for cost reasons, and after receiving a structural conformity assessment to ensure its strength, we proposed a design that would support comfortable living by utilizing the extended story height for the porch, hall atrium, high sidelights, storage, and other features, making the entire building unique and distinctive in addition to the view.
