The starting point was to realize the longing for living in the countryside and the feeling of living in a loft at low cost. The terraced house serves as a compromise between expensive land prices and the desired freedom to breathe. In this condensing construction, it is important not to conform in a uniform manner, but to step out of line and create individual freedom to form a staid mush.
A structure was created whose external reference goes far beyond the terrace. This was realized by a full-surface glass facade on both sides. This transparent outer skin was extended down to the basement, which now has a courtyard in front of it. This turns the basement into a fully-fledged and usable storey in which a guest apartment can be accommodated.
