Jalapa 116 Apartments

Mexico City, Mexico

This project was a competition organized by Jones Lang La Salle to transform an old building in the neighborhood of Roma in Mexico City into a mixed use building comprising of apartments, retail shops and a restaurant. The program required the conservation of the early 19th Century façade and the demolition of the interior in order to be erected from scratch. Our project solves these issues and promotes the transformation of the rooftop into a wooden roofscape for private use of the building. The new architecture crowns the project as an urban flower plot.
