The Mussler Perfumery on Parlerstrasse on Killesberg is now located in the new district of Killesberghöhe. It is sited directly in the entrance area to the inner courtyard. The store continues to offer the usual high quality diversity of products covering fragrances, care, make-up and natural cosmetics on a shop area of 120 m² on the ground floor. On the first floor, the product portfolio has been expanded to include five beauty suites which provide a wide range of beauty treatments.
The focus on the two floors is on customer well-being. In keeping with the tradition of the family enterprise, great emphasis is placed on harmony and comfort. The mission statement “Home of Beauty“ is implemented on the sales floor by an individual design for each of the areas. Each of the four product categories receives its own space through the use of selected materials, colours and structures as well as form and function.
The fragrance section is located in the central area of the perfumery. A bent powder-coated metal sheet serves as the base for the oak wood shelves presenting the flacons. They are designed in a subdued form and colour so that customers can devote their full attention and sense perception to the fragrances.
This is followed by the make-up area which contains the fixtures for the make-up brands and the cosmetics school. There are six adjacent make-up places and opposite them there is room to present trainees with the various tricks to achieve successful make-ups.
The next room is dedicated to care products. The walls and niches here are covered with white tiles which contrast strongly in colour with the product cabinets in new yellow. In the middle of the care area is a free-standing washbasin where care products can be tested at leisure. The special product series of natural cosmetics is presented by the raised arrangement of single cabinet elements. Each care brand has its own cabinet with a logo panel to ensure clear product identification.
Despite the different design features of the areas, they have common elements. All around are cosy stylistic elements such as small commodes, embellished cupboards, different make-up stands, lamps, chairs and tables which interrupt and supplement the shelf arrangements to contribute to a lively atmosphere on the sales floor.
A backlit visual at the cash desk and reception area next to the staircase to the upper floor draws the customer’s attention and guides customers to the beauty cabins on the first floor. The floor covering in wood look along the room high window façade calms the mood down during treatments. Customers can allow themselves to be pampered here in line with the claim of Mussler Beauty, “Be nice to yourself”.
