A total of 203 apartments and a day care center were built in the new residential district between Joachimstraße and Lindenstraße.
The guiding principles of the urban planning include the emphasis on greening and the creation of viewing corridors to reduce scale and foster individuality, complementing the perimeter block development concept. The town-planning figure occupies the two road systems bordering the property, so that a connected settlement emerges. The residential buildings surround the green inner courtyards, creating a high quality of living.
The fundamental idea to create authenticity while promoting togetherness can be found in the finely coordinated play of color and in the individually distinct reveals of the houses. Additionally, the buildings in the inner courtyard are oriented southward over a subtly increasing radius.
At the building corner of the L-shaped building, business will be arranged over 4 floors. On the ground floor and on the 1st floor, a day-care center for 70 children in five groups is built with a garden terrace and a spacious outdoor playground towards the garden.
