In Ghinza, Tokyo's most prestigious district, an emblematic building has been constructed for the Shiseido cosmetics firm founded in 1872. This 56-m high tower block display all the manifestations that contribute to reasserting the firm's image and informing about its future projects. A staircase links the different floors, recreating the elegant atmosphere of the former thirties head office. The façade, a symbolic element par excellence, was meticulously conceived to provide a balanced mixture of traditional culture and new technology. The program includes a shop, showroom, tearoom, restaurants, art gallery and conference room.
