Commissioned to convert the interior of an old steam cooling station nestled on the banks of the Main river in Frankfurt into new offices for the graphic agency Sign Kommunikation. With its dark brick façade and loophole-like windows framed by red and white folding shutters, an office layout was conceived based on generous and natural use of space, while specifying varying materials as exposed concrete and walnut to create masterful contrasts. The centre of the building is a ten-meter (thirty feet) high concrete entrance hall whilst its true centrepiece is an atmosphere created especially for the needs of creative minds, which is at once equally conducive to individual contemplation, communication and teamwork. Services provided included all planning phases (planning phases 1-9) and implementation of all furniture.
