After the world-wide success of the Korean Netflix Original "Squid Game", the long awaited sequel "Squid Game 2" returns after three years. JUNG made its product palette available to the production studio CHAEUM for furnishing the new season.

In the first season of "Squid Game", 456 desperate competitors take part in a series of fatal children's games to win a huge cash prize. While the competition becomes increasingly brutal, the series reveals the depths of human greed, moral dilemmas and the perfidious structures of the secret organisation behind the games. "Squid Game 2" ties in with the first season and promises even more tension and intrigue. Driven by the desire to take revenge on the masterminds behind the game, the winner of the first game, Seong Gi-hun, returns to end it. He infiltrates the games again to hold those responsible to account and teams up with new contestants. In spite of his efforts, the rebellion fails, leading to further losses and an open ending which prepares the stage for the third season. The set design of the second season remains true to the striking visual elements which made the series famous. The iconic green tracksuits of the contestants are retained as well as the spatial surroundings. From his cool, blue room, the Masked Officer observes the events taking place, commands the staff and manages operations. Key moments of the story are played out in this room and increase the tension and drama. To support the vision of the character and the environment around him, products from the LS 990 design range in aluminium were installed in the room of the Masked Officer. With a combination of a loudspeaker unit, rotary dimmer, F 50 push-buttons and lighting controllers, they serve as a central control system for the room atmosphere. Aluminium was selected because it blends in with the rest of the room - a simple addition which matches the cool aesthetics created by the conscious absence of decoration and the intensive blue lighting.
