This individual and collective residential building design, planned based on bioclimatic principles, aims to:
1 - Create a block of diversity and urban quality, extending the city to the east;
2 - Ensure the urban continuity and balance of the eco-neighborhood with the adjacent neighborhoods;
3 - Value the patrimonial and landscape quality of the place;
4 - Take into account, in an exemplary way, the long-lasting development at the scale of the block.
STRENGTHS:
- REDUCING ENERGY NEEDS:
a) applying an architecture of bioclimatic principles;
b) study of a high-performance thermal facade;
c) study of high-efficiency energy systems;
d) use of renewable energy: biomass and solar energy;
- WATER MANAGEMENT:
a) management of rainwater;
b) reduction of drinking water consumption.
- ECOSYSTEM:
a) Analysis and reinforcement of biodiversity.
- MATERIALS:
a) strong limitation of the embodied energy of materials (énergie grise) (wooden structure).
