The Zenz Wirtshaus in Mainz stands for traditional German cuisine: honest and good craftsmanship, with regional products from local producers, carefully selected and sustainably grown. The premises are just as down-to-earth, earthy and inviting. Oak wood, leather, rustic tiles, and typical inn elements like plaid curtains, bench seating, and the obligatory deer head create a contemporary mix of tradition and modernity.
In addition to hearty favorites, Zenz also features a wide selection of fresh beer specialties. The spacious bar area, the wooden wall in barrel look as well as the striking use of copper surfaces draw attention to this and underline the spatial character.
