The parish church of the Assumption of Our Lady of Tórtoles is a building erected in the first decade of the seventeenth century : Its construction was motivated by the need to worthily serve a large congregation composed of old Moorish community.

Adaptation to the current needs – 2GV sensibilidad patrimonial acts adapting to current needs requiring urban facilities of this kind. Returning sanitation and hygiene where people for the realization of the Catholic rite congregate. Fits inside placing cooling elements that ensure thermal conditions at all times , like the use pavement inside the temple , giving it the necessary hardness to prevent wear.
