Past Present Future II: Stéphane Beel

Beel founded his eponymous studio in the early 1980s, admitting in the "Past" clip how he naively started without working for another architect; he wanted to learn for himself. Now with around 50 employees, Beel's work in the "Present" gives the younger architects more experience by having them follow through on projects from beginning to end. Finally, although Beel has a rosy view of technology in the "Future" clip (flying cars leading to entrances atop buildings?), he advises young architects to be able to draw with their hands, to no rely on computer tools for expressing themselves.
