Pictured here is the 16-meter-tall, 40-ton Charity Tree at the Christmas market in Óbuda, a district of Budapest. Illuminated inside and out by color-changing LED lights, the firewood tree will be disassembled after Epiphany and distributed to families by the Hungarian Charity Service of the Order of Malta.

Similar trees were installed in the main square of Kőbánya, Budapest, and in the City of Kecskemét, Hungary, while the "trees" at the Royal Botanical Gardens in London and at the Belvedere Palace in Vienna were made from stacked wood sledges.
