The World Architecture Festival (WAF) has announced the 478-strong shortlist for the 2020/21 WAF Awards, which will be decided at the FIL exhibition center in Lisbon at the beginning of December – delayed one year due to the pandemic.
The shortlist is far too long to list here in its entirety. Instead, click on the category links to see the shortlist for each category. As in previous years, the categories are organized into Completed Buildings (18 categories), Landscapes (2 categories), and Future Projects (13 categories). Architects of the shortlisted projects will present their projects in December for the honor of winning World Building of the Year, Landscape of the Year, and Future Project of the Year, respectively.
