Simon Allford

Simon’s recent projects include the Angel Building, Chobham Academy, The Saatchi Gallery and Yellow Building. He is currently working on major mixed use projects in Central London, involving retail/housing/offices and even a theatre, for both public and private clients. Internationally he is working on the University of Amsterdam and on various projects in the USA. Simon is a visiting professor at the Bartlett and Harvard; a frequent lecturer, critic and examiner at many schools; a judge/advisor on architectural design competitions; and a regular critic (for eighteen months he was the weekly columnist in The Architects’ Journal). Simon has been a trustee of the Architectural Association, Vice President of The Royal Institute of British Architects (Education) & a Chair of Design Review CABE.

Jonathan Hall

Jonathan is responsible for all appointments for the practice, as well as Health and Safety procedures, while directing a number of architectural projects. He has been involved in the recently completed award winning schemes; Sunshine House, a Children's Development Centre in Southwark, and housing developments at Church Street and Crown Street Buildings.

Jonathan has been an external examiner at the University of New England and a Part III examiner at the University College of London as well as lecturing at architectural schools in the UK. Jonathan has contributed to architectural publications including Architecture Today and Building Design and has been a member of the RIBA Journal Practice editorial committee.


 

Paul Monaghan

Paul works on a wide range of projects including masterplanning, arts, educational buildings, housing, offices, public buildings and health buildings.

Recently completed projects under his direction include Kirk Balk Community College, Anne Mews, Villaggio in Ghana, Unity on Liverpool’s historic waterfront, Latitude House, Barking Central, Westminster Academy and Kentish Town Health Centre. He is currently working on a wide-range of projects including Nine Elms, several high-profile schools and the reinvention of Liverpool’s Royal Court Theatre.

Paul has lectured throughout the UK, and has been an external examiner at several Universities, including Liverpool, Westminster and Southbank. He has been Vice Chair of the CABE Schools Design Review Panel and is currently on the CABE National Design Review Panel. Paul has been chairman of the Young Architect of the Year awards, and up until 2010 chaired the RIBA awards panel. He is also a RIBA Client Design Advisor.

Peter Morris

Peter is involved in the review of all the practices projects. In his role as Managing Partner Peter’s involvement stretches from staff development, training and recruitment, financial management to determining the strategic direction of the practice.

Peter has been responsible for the direction of various projects from inception through to completion including the competition-winning schemes for Walsall Bus Station and more recently the Barbican Arts Centre.

His commitments outside the practice include acting as a CABE Enabler and as a member of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea's Architecture Appraisal Panel.
