Australian photographer Ben Thomas has focused much of his attention on world cities through a tilt-shift lens, resulting in skylines and urban spaces with blurry edges and a model-like quality. In his latest series, Accession, he opts for deep-focus views of cities but then inverts them to create odd alternate realities. An intriguing photo from the series is "Everyone's Advice," which rids the viewer of the horizon line and turns the Musée d'Orsay in Paris into an M.C. Escher-like loop of space.
