Old Mill Hotel Wins Gold

The hotel, operated by Radisson Blu, opened late last month in the renovated "Old Mill" building near the banks of the Sava River. The project also won Second Prize in the "Commercial" category of the International Design Awards, which will be given out at a gala ceremony in Los Angeles on 4 May 2015.

GRAFT describes their design of the Old Mill Hotel as "activating the original qualities of the cultural monument and hence creating a unique visual experience." The entrance, lobby, reception area, bar and restaurant are located in the old building, while new towers contain the guest rooms and suites, spa, fitness and service areas.
