OMA has unveiled its design for the new Garage Center for Contemporary Culture in Moscow's Gorky Park. The project, scheduled for completion in 2013, is a renovation of the 1960s-era Vremena Goda (Seasons of the Year) restaurant into a gallery space with a café, offices, and an education center. OMA's design preserves Soviet-era elements in what they call a structurally sound "ruin without facades." Construction of Garage's new home coincides with a major renovation of Gorky Park.
