World-Architects has arrived in Venice for the Vernissage of the 16th International Architecture Exhibition, directed by Yvonne Farrell and Shelley McNamara of Dublin's Grafton Architects under the theme FREESPACE.
UPDATE: Find all of our articles in one place on the dedicated Biennale page on Italian-Architects.
The World-Architects team* is attending the three-day preview leading up the official opening of the 2018 Venice Architecture Biennale on Saturday, May 26. While in Venice we're checking out the FREESPACE exhibition, hitting the openings of some of the many national pavilions, speaking with architects, checking out the collateral events, hitting a party or two (or three), drinking some Spritz, and posting our insights to the Magazine, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and our eMagazines in Switzerland and Germany. If you'll be at the Biennale during the preview and would like to meet, please drop one of us a line.
*Team members in Venice for the Biennale preview include World eMagazine Editor in Chief John Hill, Swiss eMagazine Editor in Chief Jenny Keller, German eMagazine Editor in Chief Katinka Corts, German-Architects Director Peter Petz, Italian- and Spanish-Architects Director Miriam Giordano, German-Architects Editor Thomas Geuder, Spanish-Architects Curator and Editor Antonio LaGioia, and Italian-Architects Curator Erica Lago, as well as CEO Renato Turri and Managing Director Charles Ganz.
