Calderon-Folch Studio

A 700m2 open pavilion for public activities in a square in transformation. Les Glòries square in Barcelona is under a huge urban transformation. In the lapse of time of the works a public facility is needed so that citizens can start using the new public space. The 700 m2 open pavilion is an energy self-sufficient shelter made of tensed canvas whose colors are the sonocromatic translation of whale’s songs, composed by the cyborg artist Neil Harbisson.
