RhineScheme GmbH (formerly Rheinschiene) was founded in 2004 In Germany and China at the same time as a merger of medium-sized design studios with 40+ years experience under one umbrella.

RhineScheme focuses on projects in China and South-East Assia – mainly big-scale architectural, urban planning and interior design projects.

RhineScheme’s Beijing office with an International staff of about 30 designers – has a well-experienced local team familiar with both Chinese and Western planning conditions and culture.

Incorporating a solid world-wide network of partner offices, RhineScheme combines more than 200 architects, urban planners and interior designers, as well as another 200 associated engineers, researchers and consultants.
