CLAB architettura

CLAB architettura engages in multi-scale design and combines professional practice with research through participation in competitions and collaborations with the Politecnico di Milano and IUAV University of Venice. Among its main recognitions, in 2016 the studio was a finalist for the “Young Italian Architects” award and, in the same year, was invited along with four other emerging studios to exhibit at the permanent exhibition Micronnections at Farm Cultural Park in Favara, Sicily.
The following year, the studio ranked 2nd as Italian Studio of the Year Under-36 by New Italian Blood. In 2018, the studio was invited to the Architecture Leibniz Universität in Hannover as part of the “Jung&Schön” exhibition dedicated to emerging young studios. The project San Cristoforo Urban Center was selected for Yearbook-3, among participants in the 2018 edition of the Italian Architect and Young Talent of Italian Architecture Award.
In 2019, it received second prize in the international competition for the redevelopment of Sveta Nedelya Square in Sofia. In 2020, the studio was invited, together with 50 other Italian architecture and design studios under 35, to exhibit at the show Italy - The New Domestic Landscape New York 1972 / Venice 2020.
In 2021, it received an honorable mention for the project The Mill in the international Europan 16 competition in the Graz site.
In 2022, it won second prize in the competition for the new lower secondary school in Cavaion Veronese and, in the same year, first prize in the international competition for the redevelopment of Corso Libertà in Merano, which was followed in 2023 by the commission for the final and executive design.
In 2023, the studio was selected for the Pisa Architecture Biennale – The Shared City with its redevelopment project for Piazza Ferdinando Savoia in Peschiera del Garda.
In 2024, it won the 7th edition of the ArchitettiVerona award with the project for the Enhancement and Restoration of the Historic Garden of Villa Maffei Sigurtà.
