Jean-Hubert Chow graduated from the Ecole d'Architecture Paris-Val de Seine, and studied at the AA School of Architecture in London. He was awarded the first prize of Cimbéton design competition during his studies. He once worked for Jean Nouvel.
In 2001, he was awarded the Pierre Cardin architecture prize by the Académie des Beaux-Art, a prestigious French academic institution, when he was 25.
In 2003, Jean-Hubert Chow obtained a diploma of architecture degree and his architect qualification DPLG. He then worked in ANMA, for Nicolas Michelin and had participated in many world-wide projects.
In December 2004, Jean-Hubert's design of a French garden was awarded first prize in the Landscape competition for the Festival of Chaumont's Gardens.
In September 2005, for the 8th session of the EUROPAN competition, Jean-Hubert's work was finalist and kept for collection. In the same year, Jean-Hubert came to Beijing, and since then has worked in famous firms and architecture design companies. He has worked on different projects at various scales like apartment district design, expansion of historic city, cultural buildings, garden design, interior design and has gained great experiences through these projects.
In January 2010, Jean-Hubert established WVA architects.
