The first installment in the Storefront for Art and Architecture's second season of Storefront TV features a one-hour "variety show" by Jimenez Lai and Michael Messner.
Tinged with retro 1980's touches and loaded with lots of humor, occasional esoteric analyses, rapid-fire presentations of buildings, clips from interviews with architects from Wright to Koolhaas, and a scene with Bjarke Ingels opening a box, it's easy to agree with Storefront's statement that the Candy Stripe Variety Hour is "a technicolor spectrum of architectural extravaganza."
