Brad Cloepfil, founding principal of Allied Works, and Joyce Tsai, the director of the Clyfford Still Museum in Denver, Colorado, talk about the numerous qualities of the museum devoted to artist Clyfford Still on the building's tenth anniversary.
"Power of Place: A Celebration of CSM’s Architecture" was recorded in the galleries of the Clyfford Still Museum, which is currently displaying A Decade of Discovery: Clyfford Still in Denver. Cloepfil and Tsai discuss Still's art, the Denver sunlight, and the calmness of the building's spaces, among other things, in the 23-minute film. On March 6, the last day of the exhibition, the two will reunite, with Spencer Bailey and Harry Cooper, at the Denver Art Museum for the panel discussion "Power of Place: A Celebration of CSM’s Architecture Part 2," which will be livestreamed on YouTube.
