The opening of our new flagship store in Conduit Street, a leading luxury shopping area, synonymous with quality, heritage and style, will also allow us to offer all our collections under one roof. The store will house women’s and men’s footwear and bags, ready to wear collections, jewellery, a dedicated bridal section and also ‘Giuseppe Junior’ collection, the latest addition to the brand’s product portfolio, launched in May 2016.
The new store has provided two floors of a unique retail space to display our collections. The ground floor entrance has been designed as a foyer where customers can get a view of the core collection.
The first floor area is visible from the ground floor through a large sky light, accentuating the remarkable height of the room and encouraging customers in their curiosity to explore the rest of the collections as well as enjoy a relaxing lounge setting upstairs.
The third floor will form a dedicated show room and event space for presenting new collections to the fashion media.
Our team of architects (Nuovostudio, Ravenna, Italy) has been very respectful of the historical value and original layout of this impressive Grade II listed building. Built from premium materials, walls are draped in white boiserie and marble with brass detailing, creating a sophisticated atmosphere and giving a nod to a distinctive Italian style. Alluding to the flair of merging classical with the modern, a range of free-standing fixtures allowed to keep interventions to minimum and to optimise the retail space.
The imposing feature staircase between the ground and first floors has been restored to enhance its original stone steps and unique wooden handrails. White marble flooring completes the polished, minimal space. With large floor to ceiling windows and the feature sky light, natural light floods through the store highlighting the scale of the space, presenting a luminescent environment.
The garden, which is visible immediately upon entering the store, is a focal point of the ground floor area and it certainly adds unique quality to a store, which is situated in the heart of a lively shopping area.
