A glazed hall incorporates the surrounding landscape, terrace-like, into the building. It serves as the communication centre for research and science and links the four institutes located in two parallel rows of buildings with anthracite fibre-cement-façades. The solitaire wooden cube within the hall houses the central laboratories.
