MUKU Dashi and Kome, a Japanese breakfast restaurant in Arashiyama, Kyoto, we aimed to create a comfortable space where you can gradually feel energized with the design concept of "morning dew".

Plastering, hanging walls of bamboo, and pendant lights spread concentrically like ripples on the surface of water, centering on the okudosan (kiln) where you cook the rice. The pendant lights that sparkle like morning dew create a space experience where you can enjoy your meal while surrounded by the greenery of Arashiyama. Every grain of rice is illuminated by the spot lights, and the dark background wall of the kitchen complements the steam rising from freshly cooked rice.

In addition, part of the lounge functions as a hotel lounge at night, creating a space with a calm atmosphere that differs from that during the day.
