Nakayoshi Library is a manufacturer of wooden toys and furniture for children located in Kochi Prefecture. Kochi is known for its high-quality cypress trees, and the toys are made of colorful domestic hardwoods, including the soft-to-the-touch cypress. Attractive toys and furniture that use natural paints and are environmentally friendly and safe naturally attract children.
The store is decorated with gray tones of floor mortar and walls to complement the white wooden toys and furniture, while the “Noren” brick on the facade, the egg shape of the logo motif, and the curved fixtures contain a “Japanese” impression and assert that the store is made in Japan. The curved panels on the walls are made of “PANECO,” a fiber-recycled board made from discarded clothing.
