Bjarke Ingels

Bjarke Ingels, one of the few architects living today who needs no introduction, covers some of the ideas that drive him and his eponymous firm, BIG – Bjarke Ingels Group, in the five-minute film. Most notable of these ideas is "hedonistic sustainability," which he coined to counter the perception that living sustainably means lowering one's standard of living. This positivity extends to climate change, which he sees as an opportunity for humans "to become the great custodians of planet Earth."
